Twisted Happy Song List – 20/02/2016

Bit of a twist on the Happy List today and instead of 3 Happy Songs today I am replacing them with three video’s that help me or make me feel happy and re-energized and get me back on track and reconnected to the Source.

No. 1 = Louise Hay – ‘I Can Do It – The Power of Affirmations’

I have listened to the video more than any other video on YouTube and the results after I have listened to it are incredible.

No. 2 = Wayne Dyer – The Shift

On the second on January 2015 I bought a ticket to see Wayne Dyer in London on October 1st. If you are a fan or aware of Wayne you will know that he passed away in August 2015. Just over a month before I was due to see him. I was in London when I saw the news and I was getting so excited about being in the same room as his energy I could not process what my eyes were showing me at first. Thankfully there was a Tribute to Wayne that I attended that was hosted by Anita Moorjani and Rob Holden and was a real gift. Talking of gifts. We were given free books that evening and I haven’t read a flesh and blood book since 2011 so I was given mine away as gifts however I hand three left and instinct said “It is time to give yourself a gift” and yesterday I started to read my physical version of “The Power of Intention” and I must say it feels quite nice to actually hold a book and a red pen to underline with rather than a tablet with finger poised to swipe.

If you haven’t watched this film, it is probably one of the best gifts you can ever give yourself.

No. 3 = Marie Forleo interview with Elizabeth Gilbert – How to Live a Creative Life

I had heard of the book and film ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ but I didn’t actually watch the film until after watching this interview but I am glad it worked out this way. When I watched this interview I was inspired to buy Big Magic instantly and write several blog posts as Elizabeth was like cream for my soul.

What is cream for you soul? Maybe some of the above will become ‘Cream for your Soul’.

Enjoy the rest of your day. I Love you ALL.

Happy Song List 29/02/2016

Happy Leap Year Day everyone

No. 1 = Fleetwood Mac – The Chain

Cool record to wake up to and you just know it’s going to build and build to that amazing bit that gets your engine running

No. 2 =  Sam Cooke -Twisting the Night Away

Go on replicate the moves I made while I waited for the kettle boil. No need for coffee really after this baby

No. 3 = Luther Vandross & Janet Jackson – The Best Things in Life are Free

They truly are. Don’t forget to take time today to notice the free things in life like the fact that you are still breathing, your eyesight to be able to read this post. your ears to listen to the joyous songs, a cloud formation, a babies smile etc.

Happy Monday Everyone 🙂

Happy Song List 27/02/2016

This is a little bit of a cheat today as it is not the first three songs that I heard this morning. It is the first things songs I heard when I got in my car yesterday evening during drive time but they certainly made me feel happy. I hope they elevate your energy equally.

No. 1 = Earth Wind & Fire – Let’s Groove

I just love the line “Glide like a 747” but I don’t why but who cares what makes us feel good is individual and we should actively seek it out as often as possible.

No. 2 = Irene Cara – Fame

Go on admit it. Who remembers ‘Fame’? Even if you haven’t got a clue pull on your metaphorical leg warmers and spin around the dance floor of life and say “I’m going to live forever” cos we all do you know.

No. 3 = The Muppets – Mahna Mahna

I know it’s silly but it reminds me of being a teenager when me and my best friend used to do an impression of this song and it makes me car dance every Friday evening when I hear it. Great way to start the weekend and on that note have a fab weekend.

Love you all 🙂

Happy Song List 17/02/2016

I have to be honest dear friends I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. Not because I was sad or not wanting to face the day but because it was so cosy and warm and I was saying positive affirmations and Gratitudes while I was laying there and I didn’t want to stop but when I pressed the play button and this beautiful gem started playing it was ok and I floated out of bed.

No. 1 = Louis Armstrong – Wonderful World

This is a beautiful Video to accompany the song that truly emphasises the meaning. I always loved this song because the most loving peaceful beautiful soul that I have ever met on this planet loved Louis Armstrong and played this to me as a child as well as playing his own trumpet. Unfortunately my uncle developed cancer and was taken far too early. It was my first experience of death but even in death he was gracious and he said with a smile “It’s OK kid, I get to play with Louis now”.

No. 2 = Shalamar – There it is

This song makes me feel soooooo young as I recall floating across the dance floor week after week while it was in the charts ‘Pop pickers’ and I might have had a little crush on Jeff Daniels as I watched him float across the floor on Top of The Pop’s. If you think MJ was the king of moonwalking if you have some free time have a quick search for Shalamar on YouTube 😀

No. 3 = Kool & The Gang – Get Down on It

How you gonna do it with your back up against the wall? It’s a bit like life. If you don’t get your back off the wall, take a chance and dance across the floor of life and get down on it how ya gonna know what you can achieve.

Let’s all get down on it today and give life our all while still taking time to see what a wonderful world it is.

The Magic Path of Intuition indeed

Miracles-happen-for-those-who-believ

The other day rightfully so I was advised that miracles were actually the standard operating  procedure of the Universe however yesterday I noticed when I stopped believing in miracles they have appeared to stop happening.

However I am still aware of the magnificent power of the Universe and that we are being sent messages all the time.

Something I have been putting my energy in recently hasn’t worked as planned and I have been a little ‘Ok what next Universe’ whilst still holding my focus on thinking the perfect opportunity will arise at the perfect time and I shall have to accept that and accept that time may not be tomorrow or next week or the next decade. I reminded myself of my heroine ‘Louise L. Hay’ and how for Louise some of her achievements I admire she hadn’t achieved until she is older than I am now.

I never take any notice of adverts on the sides of Facebook but this afternoon something caught my eye. A book by Florence Scovel Shinn (The Magic Path of Intuition). Someone else I admire. ‘Do I have this book? I don’t recognise the cover.” I thought.

I decided to check both forms of eReaders I use. “Nope, not in my collection”

I have had several gut feelings today and the thought that I never take any notice of adverts and that Florence was referred to in another book I was reading only two nights ago made me think I should buy this book.

I just started reading it and there was a introduction by Louise Hay of how she felt a kinship towards Florence for a very long time and that this manuscript was only found in 2012 despite Florence passing in 1940 and how Hay House was approached as possibly the most appropriate publisher for this type of material and Louise wrote how she is still continuously astounded in how life works in wondrous ways.

If Louise L. Hay still gets astounded by the miraculous workings of the Universe I to am going to keep believing in miracles like the miraculous way this book came to my attention even if really it is actually the norma way of things.

Happy Song List 16/02/2016

There’s a little twist to todays list because that’s the way the Universe played it and how the Universe inspired me. Have an awesomely, fantabulous mind-blowing day. I know I will because I am set up now.

No. 1 = Everybody Dance Now – From Evan Almighty

When I was growing up Monty Python was banned from our house because my mum was religious and banned it because of the film ‘Life of Brian’ but I had heard of the Ministry of Silly walks. I have my own secret ministry of silly dances and when I saw the film Evan Almighty and saw  new commandment ‘Thou Shalt do the Dance’ I instantly had a thought. When I return to non-physical and if my loved ones so choose to have some kind of ceremony to send me off my daughters know the plan. Right at the end of the ceremony they have to play C+C Music Factory – Everybody Dance now. It is my wish that all present ‘Thou Shalt do the Dance’.

No. 2 = Now that We Found Love – Heavy D and the Wedding Dance scene from Hitch

Heavy D and of course The Boyz make it law to do the silly dance when I hear this song and it is now law that you also ‘Do the Dance’ when you hear it from this day forward.

No. 3 = Justin Bieber & James Corden’s Post Grammys Drive

I have loved James Corden since I first saw him in a series called ‘Fat Friends’ (2000 – 2005) and I have a very memorable morning after the night before with my best friend sat on the sofa sharing a blanket, bowls of Pom Bears in hand and she asked “Do you watch Gavin & Stacey?”. Several enjoyable hours passed as I caught up with series 1 and ‘A League of their Own’ is one of my favourite programs and I am just filled with more and more joy as I watch his career sore because James is  for me the epitome of how life should be. The more grateful and joyous your are. The more the Universe will give to be grateful and joyous about.

Today your mission if you choose to take it is …………. to find the joy and gratitude in everything that happens then let me know what you were joyous and grateful for.

The Matrix

My partner mentioned he watched the Matrix again the other evening while I was out and forgot how good it was.

The Matrix for me is full of subliminal messages about the reality of our Universe.

Today I decided to watch it again myself as instinct was telling my to.

When Morpheus tells Neo that most people aren’t ready to be unplugged and will fight to protect the system reminds me when Guglielmo Marconi suggested that he believed messages could be sent without wires via energy frequencies he was sent to an insane asylum. Why do the majority fight the inevitable she says writing wirelessly a blog post that may be read who knows where.

Below is a photo I saw via Marconi’s wireless frequencies the other day. Thankfully most people come to the party even if it is a little late otherwise if  I lived between 1864 – 1889 I to may have been institutionalised to, several times over. I’ll leave it to your imagination to decide for which reasons …..

IMG_0723

Morpheus the Ancient Greek god of dreams. Morpheus has the ability to mimic any human form and appear in dreams.

When Neo goes to see the ‘Oracle’ the oracle has a plaque above the door that translated says “Know they self’.

The truth is we are all energy frequencies and everything is energy waves/frequencies and we can know they self any way we want to starting right now. First we dream it and then we will Morph in to it.

Interesting line towards the end of the film where it is said the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world where no one suffered and everyone would be happy but no-one would accept it.

That reality still exists if were are only willing to accept it.

the spirit of learning and creative thought was lost in strict rote learning

                                                                                                                        – Albert Einstein

I dream of an education system that encourages creative thought and teaches us we can be anything we desire and lead happy , fulfilled lives by visualisation and subsequently manifestation.

The other day I read that scientists have evidence of gravitational waves that Einstein was anticipating around 100 years ago. So maybe I am manifesting that dream as in the last 5 years or so I have seen and read more and more about The Law of Attraction and Quantum Physics in the public domain and eventually in the education system? I believe so I just don’t know how long until it becomes the norm like sending text messages.

I just have to keep focused on and do what Morpheus said ‘there’s a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Don’t think you are. Know you are. Let it all go, fear, doubt, disbelief and free your mind.’

Because what we are being shown now is what was always there …………….. a world where Anything is Possible !!

Happy Song List 15/02/2016 –

To say the first 3 songs that come out of my happy play list in the morning are eclectic is an understatement but I think today is right up there. Enjoy.

No. 1 = Chuck Berry – You Never Can Tell

I have thrown in the video from Pulp Fiction as this is where I first heard this song. There are other parts of the film that I don’t wish to re-watch but when ever I went out on a night out I always tried to get the DJ to play this song as it always got people throwing shapes and raising the energy in the room.

No2. = Eliza Doolittle – Pack Up

This song helps when the world tries to creep in and bother my vibe and it reminds me like the many Law of Attraction books I have read that tell me that we don’t have to accept what seems real and not to buy into the negative doom and gloom press. We can tip toe around all the shit going down and make our own positive reality.

No. 2 = Irene Cara – Flashdance What A Feeling

Woah, thank you Universe. This one gets me every time. This is a real lyric song for me. Not just a Happy vibe song. How many of us have slow glowing dreams that we hide deep inside and pretend they don’t matter or we don’t care because the fear of what might be stops us from even starting.

If you haven’t got this song in some format google it or YouTube it and don’t tell me it won’t make you want to dance through your life and make you passion happen.

You really can have it all. What a Feeling that is.

Happy Song List 13/02/2016 –

Today is a bit of chilled happy sandwich. When the first song came up it made it hard to get out of bed. I just wanted to wallow in the melody and then number two instigated some bed dancing (stop it) and then I was back to feeling chilled. I got up feeling I had been wrapped in a nice cosy happy blanket. Not a bad feeling to start a Saturday with.

The songs that came after were whoppers and I was thinking to myself I wish I could share these as well because I would love other people to be reminded that there are so many great tunes in our groovy world but they will probably be in the top three another day so here’s todays top Happy Music.

No. = Andy Williams = Impossible Dream

This is the second song I ever downloaded when songs became downloadable (number one is on my Happy List and probably will come up someday soon and they have something in common. I want them both played at my funeral). It just always inspires me to keep on keeping on when it has felt overwhelming. I have dreams and goals as hope we all do and I accept I might not achieve them all and I might not want to when my aspirations change but they will always be replaced with new ones and this song makes me feel that when I get to that day when I get to go home that my quest was to keep following that star …..

No.2 = Curtis Mayfield – Move on Up

I have sent this song to friends when they are having a tough time just because I think it is a great song and always helps me get back on track and remind me my dreams are my only scheme.

No 3. = Will Smith – Summertime

Not much to say about this (sorry Will) its just a groove to sooth the mood and makes me feel Happy and it’s my all time favourite summer song.

Have a great weekend and make sure you take some time to find something that sooth’s your mood.

Happy Song List 12/02/2016

This may seem an odd ‘Happy Song List’ but as I have mentioned it previously it is random. I just let it play it self out. The most often my partner and I listen to music together is in the car and he listens to the radio all day in his job and quite often when we hear the most recent releases on the car stereo we like the same songs. If I had a pound for every time I say “Yeah I love this too, I love the lyric …….” and he replies that he hasn’t heard that. He’s a melody person and I am definitely a words in the melody person. I believe songs have messages and we can tend to hear them at the most opportune moment.

One that may come up soon (if knowing the Universe as I do, probably tomorrow) was always on or came on the car radio when I was having a particular hard time and only just learning about the Law of Attraction and that we attract our own reality. It always pulled me through and that is the general feel of these songs that came out today. Two of them have been in my life for more years than I care to remember and again long before LOA -(particularly No. 2).

No 1. = OneRepublic – Counting Stars

Obviously ‘Counting Stars’ is the most recent and it always came on in the car on the way to work and the lyric about feeling so right doing the wrong thing resonated to me as all my life I have felt I never fitted in with societies norm. I couldn’t help it, I didn’t choose it but world view 1.0 (read Pam Grout) didn’t float my boat but world view 2.0 is making me feel really at home. The more I see on the internet the evidence what you and I already know coming into the public domain I am like a new born puppy and have to be careful I don’t have an accident like an excited puppy and on that note and changing the subject ‘In my face there are flashing signs “Seek it out and ye shall find” reminds me that the Universe is helping us 24/7.

No 2. = Armand Van Heldon – U don’t know me

Bit of an aggressive happy song this but relates to not feeling like fitting in I suppose. I guess we can all relate to other people at times being jealous or judgemental or feeling we should do this, not that or do it their way as they believe their way is right but your gut is screaming ‘Nooooooo’ and you don’t know why you can’t see it from their perspective but when you go your way they can become unkind. This used be confuse me and make my head hurt so I used to play this song and dance my little tooshie off and I always felt better afterwards. I must admit since hearing about The Law of Attraction my head doesn’t hurt now as I don’t attract those situations so this song is pretty much redundant but still good to dance to.

No 3. = McFadden & Whitehead – Ain’t No Stopping us Now

The Universe is so darn clever because Armand Van Heldon and McFadden & Whitehead always went hand it hand so pick it as one todays three is genius. When people or life could seem unkind this always got my groove on. Don’t you let nothing, nothing stand in your way cos there ain’t no stopping us now. It’s taken a long time (more or less a 100 years of understanding quantum mechanics) but finally we’re on the move.

Don’t try to stop us cos we aren’t buying those negative vibes. We’re leaving them far behind.
