Last week I had some bad news and I challenged my thinking but then that news lead me to investigate an opportunity I was ignoring and now I couldn’t be happier. I read over the weekend ‘Never judge any situation and be thankful for everything’ One because judging is a bad vibration and blocks good coming to you and two we never know what the real reason for this so called disaster maybe. I can certainly vouch for that and as the song says sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down
No. 3 = Booker T & The M.G’s
I was an incredibly shy child but I loved to dance and I suppose looking back my Mum was trying to help me overcome a little of that shyness and entered me in to a Holiday Camp Dance Competition as a teenager and ironically this is the song they played and I won the competition. Ironically? It is ironic as it was a Disco Dancing competition. I had never heard the song before but I do feel the rhythm when I hear music so I just let it flow.
Which is I guess what we should do with all aspects of life, go with the flow. As Jem tells us – ‘it’s just a ride’ any way.
Good No.1 song to start the day with but not a wanna jump out of bed song. Just wanna wallow song. No.2 soon stopped that and No. 3 awesome !!!!

I will get of the Cream for Your soul subject I promise but I can’t help what comes out but this song always makes me feel amazing. It also has amazing lyrics and makes me think of summer. Some amazing things have happened to me over the last few days ‘I’ve got the Faith and I can truly be free’.
On the surface to our physical eyes it appears tragic what happened to this beautiful creature but I don’t believe in death anyway but I am grateful that in her short time on the physical plane we were gifted. This song came on in the car once after not hearing it for the longest of times and I had one of the best car dances I had ever had and instantly bought it when I stopped and added it to my happy list.
I am calling this the ‘Cream for my Soul List’ today. The last couple days my smart phone hasn’t been playing ball in the respects that when I flip up the doofer on the front screen it’s not playing from my Happy List but All music which is OK but doesn’t feel so authentic however one of the songs that came on made me feel all warm and fuzzy and them I thought not all Happy Music has to make you want to throw shapes, it can just be like having cream poured over you soul.

My blog started out as writing about my observations of The Law of Attraction at work in my life.
The other day I wrote about watching the Matrix and how Morpheus tells Neo that most people aren’t ready to be unplugged and then last night I saw this on social media.
Yesterday morning I thought about a website that I had seen advertised that might help with something I needed but at that point could not remember the name of the company. Maybe some would say that I was reading too much in to this but the material I read says different. I had been quite busy but when I sat down for a coffee break the exact advert came on.
Random and trivial and again maybe coincidence but I had a passing thought that I haven’t heard much about the singer Rihanna recently when it felt at one point she was bringing out a song every other week.
The next day I sit down to unplug and I flipped on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and Ellen says “coming up later we have Rihanna”.
One of my categories is called ‘just me rambling’ because that is what I do when I am writing but at the same time whenever someone takes the time to like a post or comment I am very grateful because I feel I have connected to like-minded people so this post is really to all the other unplugged people who realise there is more than meets the eye in this crazy beautiful Universe I want to say a humungous THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!
Bit of a twist on the Happy List today and instead of 3 Happy Songs today I am replacing them with three video’s that help me or make me feel happy and re-energized and get me back on track and reconnected to the Source.
No. 1 = Louise Hay – ‘I Can Do It – The Power of Affirmations’
On the second on January 2015 I bought a ticket to see Wayne Dyer in London on October 1st. If you are a fan or aware of Wayne you will know that he passed away in August 2015. Just over a month before I was due to see him. I was in London when I saw the news and I was getting so excited about being in the same room as his energy I could not process what my eyes were showing me at first. Thankfully there was a Tribute to Wayne that I attended that was hosted by Anita Moorjani and Rob Holden and was a real gift. Talking of gifts. We were given free books that evening and I haven’t read a flesh and blood book since 2011 so I was given mine away as gifts however I hand three left and instinct said “It is time to give yourself a gift” and yesterday I started to read my physical version of “The Power of Intention” and I must say it feels quite nice to actually hold a book and a red pen to underline with rather than a tablet with finger poised to swipe.
If you haven’t watched this film, it is probably one of the best gifts you can ever give yourself.
No. 3 = Marie Forleo interview with Elizabeth Gilbert – How to Live a Creative Life
I had heard of the book and film ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ but I didn’t actually watch the film until after watching this interview but I am glad it worked out this way. When I watched this interview I was inspired to buy Big Magic instantly and write several blog posts as Elizabeth was like cream for my soul.
What is cream for you soul? Maybe some of the above will become ‘Cream for your Soul’.
Back to my buzzy self today. Feeling invincible after these buzzy Happy Songs. I defy you not to listen to these and not to do a fist pump to number one and a few shimmies to number two and three …… or was that just me. Also how cool are the name of the artists.
No. 1 = Living Joy – Don’t Stop Moving
The other day I wrote a post about the messages in the Matrix. I don’t know what you read Dear readers/followers but I read material that tells me the Universe is sending us messages all the time via music, books, films and overheard conversation etc etc. This is a doozy for giving the world a fist pump and say I won’t stop moving and I will fulfil my dreams because I can do anything with my mind, body and soul.
No. 2 = DeBarge – Rhythm of The Night
Forget about the worries on your mind, feel the rhythm and leave them all behind. Exercise and Dancing can raise your vibration and I can vouch for that after throwing some shapes to this baby.
No. 3 = The Miracles – Love Machine
I’m Living Joy and expecting Miracles today. I hope you are too.

They truly are. Don’t forget to take time today to notice the free things in life like the fact that you are still breathing, your eyesight to be able to read this post. your ears to listen to the joyous songs, a cloud formation, a babies smile etc.
This is a little bit of a cheat today as it is not the first three songs that I heard this morning. It is the first things songs I heard when I got in my car yesterday evening during drive time but they certainly made me feel happy. I hope they elevate your energy equally.
No. 1 = Earth Wind & Fire – Let’s Groove
I just love the line “Glide like a 747” but I don’t why but who cares what makes us feel good is individual and we should actively seek it out as often as possible.
No. 2 = Irene Cara – Fame
Go on admit it. Who remembers ‘Fame’? Even if you haven’t got a clue pull on your metaphorical leg warmers and spin around the dance floor of life and say “I’m going to live forever” cos we all do you know.
No. 3 = The Muppets – Mahna Mahna
I know it’s silly but it reminds me of being a teenager when me and my best friend used to do an impression of this song and it makes me car dance every Friday evening when I hear it. Great way to start the weekend and on that note have a fab weekend.
It felt a bit ironic to post this, this morning but the Voice said I had to. Why is it ironic? Because despite saying to myself every morning “Today is going to be amazing. Today is going to be the best day of my life and miracles are going to happen today” it’s been a bit rubbish since the weekend with one bad bit of news after another and despite trying to fight it with affirmation after affirmation I still felt a bit sick in my stomach but here is the proof that music can change your mood.
No. 1 = Madonna – Holiday
You can turn this world around and bring back all of those happy days. Put your troubles down. It’s time to celebrate. I am a bit of a contradiction in terms and the moment because one part of me feels my thinking must be off whack somewhere or I wouldn’t be experiencing this and another part of me is saying ‘hold the faith, trust the process, let it go, it is all going to work out perfectly’ and listening to Madonna made me feel positive and I can turn this world around. Take a holiday from my thoughts and I find something to celebrate to get those Vibes high again.
No.2 = Katie Perry – Roar
Katie reminded me of a time that wasn’t so good before and I used this song to give me strength to go into an unpleasant situation and speak my truth and how empowering it was.
Don’t Stop thinking about tomorrow it will be here better than before. This song reminded me that if I keep focusing on the positive and trusting the process it can’t help being better than before because whatever negative thinking from the past I am reaping now can only be replaced with a brighter future if I hold a positive outlook so no looking back
Bonus Track – Katie Perry – Firework
Katie Perry didn’t automatically play today but after hearing Roar and Don’t Stop I thought a bit of Firework was just what I needed.
This song was released in 2010 very shortly after I first read the book ‘The Secret’ and while this book and all the subsequent books I have read since have changed my life negative situations were a way of life and a daily occurrence as I was reaping what I kept sowing. Not just a blip in the Matrix like this is and virtually every time I got in my car feeling overwhelmed this song was playing or came on shortly after and the line about maybe the reason all the doors are closed is so you could open one that leads to the perfect road got me through so many, many times until out of the blue one April day in 2011 literally a miracle of the Universe blew my mind and yes the perfect road did appear.
It also reminded me that after a Hurricane comes a rainbow so that is what I am focusing on now ……. Rainbows !!!!!!!
