If you are depressed you are living in the past

If you are anxious you are living in the future

If you are at peace you are living in the present

Statement 1 Me = Guilty

 Statement 3 Me = Know to be true

 Intention to live in number 3 more and more everyday

 Someone reading this if they acknowledge it or not maybe thinking  “Yeah, but Ali is easy for you” 🤬

I heard the other day when you go after your goal people say you are crazy, when you achieve it they say you are lucky 🍀 

There is no luck involved it. It is just constant consistent action to evaluate what’s working and what’s not and keep doing what’s working and find ways to improve and remove what’s not working and ya know what I have lost count of how many times I have fallen back down the rabbit hole of doing what doesn’t serve me …… again, but that’s ok because acknowledging it and trying again eventually I retrain my brain to do what serve me more often 

Another great statement I heard the same day as I saw the above said “if you are still alive you have not failed, you just stopped ~ As long as you are alive you can start again”

How amazing is that and how liberating and empowering is that thought 😉

Read it again !!!

You have never failed. You just learn’t what works and what doesn’t. Wipe the slate clean and go again ~ Woo, Woo !! 🔥

Once of the most destructive actions in the world is guilt and the other is non-forgiveness. They literally poison your body and who do we refuse to forgive the most ~ if you didn’t already say it ill write it “Ourselves”

Question? Would you drink poison? ☠️

Of course not but that is literally what people are doing when they hash over and over in their mind something they think you should have said or done and feel guilty and refuse to forgive themselves for it and then they wonder why they feel rubbish 🤢

It is said well over 90% of what we fear never comes to pass or is as bad as we thought it would be yet we can ruin over 90% of our days by worrying about something there will never come to pass

 A bit sickening when you think about it like that ‼️Even more sickening is actually I believe those things will come to pass… why because that’s the energy frequency we are sending out like a radio tower tuning in to DoomFM so we resonate back to us more Doom, gloom, sickness, sadness, financial poverty and people say The Law of Attraction doesn’t work.  Oh it does Baby you’ll attract back anything you think about on a consistent bases. No-one said it will only work positively which seems a common misunderstanding in LOA circles

 People wonder why they are broke all the time? 

Because they must be focusing on lack of money more than abundance of money and if you think about lack what are you going to get more of? Answers in the comments section not a postcard please

 Breath, close your eyes and take 6 slow death breaths 🧘🏻

In through the nose and out through the mouth like breathing through a straw

You are now in the present and what is the Present? A Gift  🎁 

Where do you want to live? In the past, future or present and what do we all want? Gifts 💝 

When ever you feel overwhelm give yourself the gift of 6 deep breaths


Because your brain cannot think rationally in a stressful state and solutions cannot be found in this state of mind.

Not to mention it is quick and free and people say they can’t afford or haven’t got enough time to embark on Personal Development

 Get out of that one Batman 

I have to admit this was advised to me a few months ago while in overwhelm, see I told you I’m not perfect. I keep going back there and the technique I mentioned above I learnt off of John Assaraf but now I remember to breath because I have seen the positive results of doing it and it makes more sense to do it than not do it

 If you have followed my advise, now you are in a calmer state, start thinking about things you are grateful for, no matter how small. 💭 

It’s good to start with someone you love because they will put you in a good frame of mind and it doesn’t have to be human. It can be a pet and then see what else comes to mind? 

For me I start with Gratitude every morning now from having a good nights sleep to the bed I am in and the roof over my head and hot and cold running water etc see we all have something to be grateful for even if we think we don’t and coincidentally this is literally how I started my journey of change with no greater task than that and why do I ask you to do this because you literally can’t think positive and negative at the same time so if you are in a negative thinking state either in the past or the future start thinking about the things you are grateful for 🙏🏻

Even better write them down in a journal and make this a practice every morning so you consciously start you day off right 

Probably most successful person I know either physically or virtually states Gratitude as their number one secret ingredient 

I wasn’t perfect at this either and kept forgetting but eventually I started to change my brain that it has become habit and what is a habit? Just a thought we keep thinking over and over again. 

Can’t change a habit? Let me ask you …..

Were you born knowing how to walk? Ah nope and you weren’t born thinking negatively either. You just learn’t it over a period of time like walking and like any other habit you learn’t over time you can learn to think more proactively for your well-being and who doesn’t want to be in a state of well-being 

Trust me. If I can go from flip flopping from A to B for yearsssssss !! to spending the majority of my time in C if you want to spend more time in C like me literally take a breath and say thank you

Lesson & Blessings


“Oh Wow !! Boy am I humbled”

It’s either a blessing or a lesson and sometimes it is a blessing and a lesson.

I aim to do Personal Development daily to stay in the best possible, highest vibration I can but I am human and recently something was really frustrating me so I did what I normally do and remind myself how this like previous negative situations in a few days this will not have the charge it currently has and in a few weeks I will probably not even remember it. I also remind myself it is either a blessing or a lesson and try to see what the lesson is.

I made a decision based on this that felt good and then I was led to amazing opportunities that I would have never found if I hadn’t had the negative situation happen. So much so, yesterday I saw something that a few weeks ago that would probably have upset me but instead I laughed because I was in such a good place that I would never been in if it wasn’t for those previous experiences and I said thank you for the blessing.

Later in the day I was reading a book in where the author who I thought really has his sxxt  together told a story of having a conversation with a Monk in a hot tub (as you do) and the Monk told him “I know what your problem is, you have low self-esteem. He was defensive at first as it was explained and then he agreed that certain behaviour traits were indeed due to low self-esteem. He then described another scenario where he spent time with and excellent Leader in their field that highlighted a scarcity issue.

While reading this it struck me that the reason I felt frustration recently was because of low self-esteem and a story I was telling myself that probably wasn’t even true. 

Like the author. Because we make a conscious effort to deal with negative situations we thought we are doing a good job but we were not dealing with the underlying issue in the first place and I knew today I needed to do some inner work on my self worth and where to go to for this. For me, Marisa Peer (who coincidently was the person who highlighted the scarcity issues to the author but who I would have referred to anyway).

Now I wasn’t in the position to have a 121, Face to Face with Marisa today but I did the next best thing for me and YouTube Marisa and do some “I Am” statements and my favourite Marisa “I AM” “I Am Worthy”

Later I watched a Masterclass presentation and the speaker asked “do you think you are a victim of circumstance buffeted around by life and have no control over things?” I said to the screen “No chance” Knowing I am responsible for it all. Even the sxxt stuff because at some level I have attracted this with my thoughts but its ok because I am grateful for the lesson that my self-esteem obviously needs some work and with that a lady opened the shop door as said “I just have to say. I walk past your shop every week and I wanted to tell you, your work is truly incredible”

I think she was probably aware by my reaction how taken back I was by her kind comment and I told her how grateful I was and appreciative of her for taking the time to tell me.

We shouldn’t need validation from others but it seemed very coincidental that this person arrived on this day to tell me my work is good and I know there truly are no accidents.

Even the most successful people in the world look to others to help them become the best version of themselves they can become. 

I recently heard some advise I have taken to heart and determined to work on achieving and that was to attend every destination event you possibly can as you will come away invigorated and inspired to take your life to the next level by what you hear and learn. I know from his position this was actually aimed at NWM but it can be applied to any destination invent with incredible guest speakers and I am so glad that very soon I am will be attending an incredible Event with so many guest speakers and only a short distance away from me for far, far less than most events like this cost so now I am so super excited to keep working on my self-esteem even when I feel I have my sxxt together and take my game to the next level ~ whose coming with me? xx

You are not an impostor, you are awesome

The last couple days I have been getting excited that B-School is coming up soon and I get to take it again for the third year running and forever. Once you are in your in but if you don’t want to be a B-schooler do yourself a favour get yourself on Marie’s MF insiders email list or follow her on YouTube. 

Not only if she is hilarious she is so insightful and if you have that Monkey Mind voice that’s is constantly beating yourself up check this Video out ……… is also shows you that people we think have it all figured our have self doubt and lack in confidence.

Let’s take Maries advise and Big each other and ourselves up. We are ALL AWESOME xx

You are Awesome for a reason


My mind is hard to tame sometimes and while “trying” to focus on a task it sparks off ideas and it feels like speech bubbles are literally popping up above my head and then I am in this mental tug of war.

Stay on the game – do it now – stay on the game – DO IT NOW !!!

Just like now when I am watching a Marie Forleo – B School video and my mind is coming up with this post and “Do it Now” won despite trying to stay focused on the task in hand however if I didn’t do it now I know the moment would be lost and the method/content I want to convey would be lost (or at least not as effective).

I have a habit I try to stick to daily of listening to something inspirational first thing in the morning. This used to be from my YouTube app on my phone on my commute which has adapted to YouTube on my TV app as I dress and recently instead of searching I have picked the first of the recommended having Faith in the Universe that this is meant for my ears and the other day I heard Earl Nightingale talk of a man who took (in his 60’s) his ideas that his employers wouldn’t let him develop and turned them into a multimillion dollar business.

This stuck with me and reminded me how in various jobs/roles I have had ideas that I felt would improve the company but weren’t appreciated or developed because …. “that’s not how we do things around here” or “things are working fine as they are” “we don’t like change here” etc.

I love change. I love personal development but I tried to stay compliant. I tried to shut down my ideas, my thinking, to stay in the role but eventually it worked against my nature and my well-being and I or the Universe conspired my exit and boy am I so glad !!!

Those ideas are implanted in you for a reason. They are what makes you “YOU” so never suppress it like I did. They are your individual Awesomeness. Your reason for being and when they come embrace them in the moment.

Jot them down on some spare paper laying around and stick them in your pocket or write them on your hand but remember to still jot them on paper at the earliest convenience before you wash your hands (if you know what I means :0 ).   Voice note them, set a reminder with a note attached on your phone to revisit them asap. With todays technology the varieties are endless to capture what could be your million dollar idea or just your opportunity to not work for people who shut down your uniqueness.
