Oh My Day’s …..
My Monday was so Memorable and so Soul Aligned in so many ways and when I went to chill I don’t know why but I was drawn to watch The Screen Actors Guild Awards on Netflix
I had no idea why as I have never watched before in my life but I followed Inspired Action and then I saw Jessica Gunning had been nominated for her role in Baby Reindeer for best female actor in a TV movie or Limited series
The other nominees were Screen legends like Kathy Bates, Cate Blanchett and Jodie Foster
I physically said to my TV “Please let it be Jessica” who first came to my awareness in her role “The Outlaws” which I thought she was brilliant and hilarious in, that has a very eclectic cast including Christopher Walken and was Co Directed and Co Written by Bristol born Stephen Merchant and filmed 35 miles away from me actually in “Bristol”
I literally clapped like a seal when Jessica won and walked up on stage but when she gave her speech I knew why I was drawn to watch
Jessica said “When she started acting she had an office job along side acting for about 8 years and had a very geeking thing to admit that when she went into work she had a powerpoint vision board of all things she wanted to do and all the people she wanted to meet and work with and Cate Blanchett, Jodie Foster and Kathy Bates were on that Vision board and she got a huge cheer when she admitted this fact
Along with me who clapped at the TV …
How things have changed
Early that day I had a conversation with some friends about my alter ego The Law of Attraction Lover and someone said “Wait, what did you say? The what?”
And I replied “The Law of Attraction Lover. When I started on this weird journey I have been on I started a blog called The Law of Attraction Lover because honestly I was to shy to use my own name and talk about this, for me. Life changing phenomenon called the Law Of Attraction and I asked for guidance what to call it and that’s what came through”
“Oh that came up as a suggestion for me and I didn’t know what it was and ignored it”
I admitted that these day’s I hardly blog, creating other stuff in other formats but it’s ok because it is Evergreen and it still hangs out there online and I still feel inclined to blog now and again
Little did I know that following Inspired Action to watch the Screen Actor’s guild awards would inspire me to write a blog post later that very day.
As I have just mentioned. Early in my journey I was nervous to talk about my geeky love of LOA and all things Mindset, personal development etc and hid behind a sydonum but here is a famous actress standing on a world wide stage, literally. Admitting to her Vision-board and proving that focused attention works
Not only that, she mentioned she worked in an office for 8 years whilst building her career
When I had an office job I used to place my Bob Proctor inspired goal card on my PC so I could see it all day and despite what felt like a living hell. I listened to Bob to and from that position on my commute and held the Faith that one day the words on that Goal Card would Manifest
And they did in the weirdest set of Circumstances I could “Never” have imagined which were about having my own business and when that Manifested people would come into that business all the time and say how lucky I was Doing What I Loved and Loving What I Did (which were literally some of the words I had on that card)
And I would proceed to tell them how they could do the same and they would instantaneously start putting up objections of why it was possible for me and not for them
Bob Proctor says “If You Can Hold it in Your Head You Can Hold it in Your Hand”
But they would say things like
Usually they were too old (while being younger than me).
Not talented enough but I would use a question to ask them something to pull out of them something they were passionate about and watch them become totally animated and explain how they could start transmuting that into a potential business and income stream
But they would tell me they had bills to pay and they couldn’t give up their job and they wouldn’t have time and
A) I would tell them how they could use tiny pockets of time to do certain things and that it all adds up over time
and
B) I would tell them about my girl and first mentor Marie Forleo who worked 3 different jobs while building her Life Coaching business and went on to incredible success and now stands on the most prestigious stages and gets interviewed by the most prominent people including Oprah Winfrey
And now here is British born Jessica Gunning standing on a prestigious stage claiming her award and telling the world she worked in an office along side building her acting career and sharing the fact that she had a Vision Board she looked at every day morning to a room that included Kathy Bates, Cate Blanchett and Jodie Foster
It was because I became so frustrated with these incredibly able talented woman righting themselves off that inadvertently moved into the next phase of my journey. The one I am just developing and evolving into right now
I thought I was on one path and working on one thing when I was persistently interrupted with said women and it felt like consistent road blokes to what I felt I should be doing until eventually
After a very fulfilling day helping one lady that the Universe presented me with to maximise their Facebook page and then approached by another for support that the penny dropped
And I trust that all this happened for a reason
I recently realised I had allowed myself to fall out of aligned with my true desires and literally yesterday morning I made the decision to recommit to only acting out of Soul Alignment regardless of what things looked like now and however long it takes and the Synchronicities immediately started to show up again
Where we are right now may not look like anything like where we truly desire to be but holding the Faith in the Yet Unseen and taking those little steps however geeky and Freaky they look but feel soul aligned will eventually get you to where you want to be
Just please don’t put a date and time stamp on it
Keep holding the Faith and Follow those Inspired ideas. Take the actions and please know it all adds up even if you have to keep the day job in the beginning etc
