What Would You Do If You Knew You Were Going To Live To 100+?

12 Mar

Today my Dad is 93.

This photo was taken March 11th 2018

Less than 2 months since my Mum transitioned and it was his first time in an Indian Restaurant

Dad is 6 feet 4 inches and Mum was 4 feet 11 inches tall but Mum was definitely the boss and she had a very simple pallet and if she didn’t like something they didn’t eat it hence no previous visit like the visit to our then favourite Indian Restaurant

He was totally blown away by the decor, the ambience and the food itself and talked about it for weeks

As Dad was getting visitors and telephone calls today, just out of interest I researched the average life expectancy at various stages in history as I don’t think he fully appreciates how incredible it is to be this age and how phenomenal he is at 93

For a man born in 1932 as my Dad was the average life expectancy was around 61 years for a man and 63 for a woman

In the 1920’s it was 53.6 years for a man and 54.6 for a woman and ….

In the 1800’s the average life expectancy at birth was 40 years. 40’s !!

So my Dad who was born in 1932 has lived an extra 50% longer than the average life expectancy. Another half a life time

5 years ago he was in hospital for his birthday after suffering a massive stroke 2 weeks before the world went into mayhem. Sorry, Lockdown and I was told be wouldn’t make it through the night yet here he is still living independently

I have certainly noticed people living longer and longer in my lifetime and several years ago whilst working in the Care Industry I was at a conference where it was stated that by 2040 something people would be living into their 100’s  but I see people already smashing that figure including my own Great Aunt

My point is here. People used to come into my Brick n Mortar business and tell me they envied me but when I gave them pointers how to turn their passions into income they usually gave one or both reasons why they couldn’t

They weren’t talented and they were to old but most of them were younger than me and I believe we all have gift and are extremely talented around something we are Passionate about

This made me sad that they would write themselves off so early but it also made me Passionate

Passionate to prove, educate and support other woman to see that they too could learn the “Digital Stuff” I have and monetise the things that fuel their Passions and make them light up

I say light up because after a few short questions I could usually find a subject somebody loved and suddenly see them literally light up. Become animated. Their eyes sparkle and their energy change and radiate a glow

If we had life expectancies of 40, 50, 60 and 100 in the future and yet are already starting to smash that figure, what are the life span capacities of the future?

How old are you now?

How many more decades do you potentially have in-front of you?

How are you going to live them?

Or not live them?

Not sure where to start to live fully to your potential?

My Easy Tool helps you dig into what makes you tick and gives you ideas to get you off to a running start.

Talking of a running start

I took the Training of one of my mentors who taught me a particular Training they received after paying £10,000 for a weekend Personal Development retreat and said they felt this Training alone was worth the whole 10 grand and adapted it into my very first Funnel but it is nowhere near 10,000

It is actually 999,300% less but still incredible value for such a small investment but don’t take my word for it …

If you knew you were going to live to 100+ would you keep doing the things you disliked or would you stop thinking it’s too late and you are too old and embrace every second and start doing the things you love
